Cookies Policy
This Cookies Policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage used by Argrow — a service of Resimplify Pty Ltd (ABN 67 629 229 143), trading as Argrow ("we", "us", "our"). It applies to our website at argrow.ai ("Website") and describes what we use, why, and how you can control it. It should be read with our Privacy Policy. We may update this policy from time to time by posting a new version here.
1. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small file stored on your computer or device when you visit a website. "Browser storage" (such as localStorage) works similarly. They let a site recognise your device, remember your preferences (for example your privacy choice or that you are signed in), and understand how the site is used.
2. Cookies we use
On this Website we use four categories of cookies and browser storage. In the "Consent" column, opt-in means the cookie is only ever set after you accept it in our banner, which is what visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland see. Opt-out means it loads when you visit and you can turn it off using the controls in section 6, which is the position everywhere else.
| Category | What it does | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Essential for the site and platform to work. On the Website, this remembers your cookie/privacy choice and the sign-up flag. Inside the signed-in platform, this includes the session/authentication cookie that keeps you logged in and secure. | Not required (essential) |
| Performance (analytics) | Helps us understand how the Website is used so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics (cookies such as _ga). We also run our own first-party analytics, self-hosted in Australia, which is not provided by a third-party analytics vendor. | Opt-in in the EEA, UK and Switzerland; opt-out elsewhere |
| Advertising | We use the Meta Pixel (cookies such as _fbp) to measure how our advertising performs, so we can tell which ads bring people to the site and improve them. This involves sharing data with Meta Platforms. | Opt-in in the EEA, UK and Switzerland; opt-out elsewhere |
| Functional | Remembers your preferences (such as login details and region) to make things more convenient, and supports account security and load balancing so requests are handled reliably. | Not required (essential) / preference |
3. Inside the signed-in platform
When you are logged in to the Argrow platform, we set the cookies and similar browser storage needed to keep you signed in and secure. We also run our own product analytics, including session replay — a screen-style recording of how you move through the portal — to understand usage, diagnose issues, provide support and improve the product. This analytics and session recording is self-hosted on our own infrastructure in Australia, is not sent to any third-party analytics vendor, and masks sensitive input fields so their contents are not recorded. Because it supports the operation, security, support and improvement of the platform you are signed in to, this processing forms part of providing the Service to you. Further detail is in our Privacy Policy.
4. How long cookies last
- Google Analytics
_ga- persistent, up to about 13 months. - Meta Pixel
_fbp- persistent, up to about 90 days. - Your cookie/privacy choice and sign-up flag - persistent, kept until you clear this site's data.
- Session and authentication cookies (signed-in platform) - last for the session and expire when you sign out or the session ends.
5. Third-party cookies
We set two third-party cookies on this Website:
- Google Analytics, which helps us understand how the site is used. To find out more about how Google uses data, see How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps.
- The Meta Pixel, which measures how our advertising performs and shares data with Meta Platforms. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, neither of these loads unless you accept them in our banner. If you decline, neither is loaded at all. Our own product analytics and session replay are first-party and self-hosted in Australia, not provided by a third-party analytics vendor.
6. How to control cookies
- Our banner. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, a banner appears on your first visit. Choose "Accept" to allow analytics and advertising cookies, or "Decline" to refuse them, in which case neither Google Analytics nor the Meta Pixel is loaded.
- Withdrawing or changing your choice. Wherever you are, you can withdraw consent or opt out at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, or by emailing us at support@argrow.ai. Clearing the site's data also clears the record of your choice, so the banner will ask again if it applies to you.
- Opting out of Google Analytics anywhere. You can install Google's browser opt-out add-on, which blocks Google Analytics on every site you visit.
- Your browser. You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that cookies and storage used inside the signed-in platform to keep you logged in and secure are strictly necessary; if you block them you may not be able to sign in or use parts of the Service.
